The minutes were approved as written.DNA Chairman James Larry Vick presented an update on progress on our DNA project. We now have a Vick surname with Ancestry.com. He said there are some interesting ancient findings in our group which are being studied.President Joe Jurlina informs us that Di Ann Vick has asked to be relieved of her editorial responsibilities due to health. That was approved by the board, with many thanks to Di Ann.Gailen Vick proposed that James Larry Vick replace Di Ann in the position of editor, seconded by Robert Allen and Richard.Gailen suggests that Pres. Jurlina phone Di Ann to make sure exactly what she is asking to be relieved of.Gailen reports on the plaques we are sending to certain loyal and hardworking members. It was stated that we had heard that John Beatty had received his.Beverly Strickland, Reunion Committee, reports that we should expect 100 to 125 people at the reunion on June 20 & 21. We will send one more reunion letter with updates and send out a newsletter after the reunion including events of the reunion.O. Richard Wright reports that we do not yet have a reply to our submission requesting a Tax Exempt Status. Shirley Anne Vick, Secretary
